Extra Special Journey
For those of you with a little bit more time to spend in Scotland, and are looking for that something special, then why not let us design you a tailor-made Highland Journey you won’t forget.

Illustrated below is an example of one of our popular 4 day tailor-made tours.

Day 1: Glasgow - Isle of Skye
Let us pick you up from Glasgow Airport (for example) and head north into the National Park of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs.

We can stop at a lovely wee village called Luss to take some great photos of this famous Loch. Then we continue our drive north through a rugged landscape into the dramatic valley of Glen Coe. It doesn’t matter what time of year it is, this place still haunts me! We can visit the Glen Coe visitor centre which tells the story of the infamous massacre in 1692.

Then we head for Fort William for some tasty seafood if you wish and admire the sheer beauty of the area, with Ben Nevis in the background dominating the town. Later we take the “Road to the Isles” to Glenfinnan, a beautiful place, steeped in history and more recently the location was used in Harry Potter movies.

We carry on winding along the coastline until we get to Mallaig. Here we catch the ferry to the Isle of Skye. It is a great way to arrive on Skye, only 30 minutes by ferry and then we drive to our accommodation on the south of the island. Just relax, admire the views and unwind with a whisky!

Day 2: Isle of Skye Exploration Day
Refreshed, we spend the day exploring this magical island. The options are endless here. We can visit the north of the island with the spectacular landscapes, seascapes and castles. We can visit the mighty Dunvegan Castle. We can even visit Skye’s own distillery, Talisker. You may want to go on a boat trip to Loch Coruisk or do a little walking in the Quiraing. After an exciting day on Skye it’s time to retire to our accommodation in the south of the island. Put your feet up and enjoy the good Scottish cuisine!
